Chad grew up in the Midwest in a Christian family, where he was taught the Bible and God opened his heart to believe the gospel. He and his wife, Sarah, moved to Oregon in 2006. Chad has been involved in church ministry for the last 14 years, most recently ministering at a church in Hillsboro for 10 years, where he completed a pastoral internship and served as a lay elder. Chad has been at Cross Creek since 2016 and joined the leadership team as pastor in September of 2017. Chad and Sarah have three children – a son and two daughters who keep them very busy. In his spare time Chad enjoys reading and following sports – especially the Chicago Cubs, Hillsboro Hops and the University of Michigan.
- Jim Westberry, Elder: Youth Ministry
Jim is a lifelong Oregonian. He was raised in the Sweet Home area and graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1981, before enjoying a 3-year stint in the U.S. Army as a Military Police dog handler. He attended Linn-Benton Community College in Albany, studying Criminal Justice. He was employed as a corrections officer for Benton County in Corvallis before moving to Hillsboro. He has worked for the City of Portland as a police officer for the past 25 years and is looking forward to retirement soon. He has been married to his wife, Becky, for 27 years, and they have been blessed with 2 children and 2 grandchildren. Jim's hobbies include hunting, fishing, and traveling with his wife.
Jim was called to salvation in the summer of 1978 at a week-long summer camp. He served as a youth leader and deacon and was involved with men's ministries at a previous church. Jim started attending Cross Creek Bible Church in 2014. Currently as an elder, he oversees the youth ministry and the finances.

After graduating from Purdue University, Scott moved to Oregon from northwest Indiana in 1979 to attend seminary. Later he graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a Masters degree in Christian School Administration and then helped plant a church and Christian school in Oregon, where he served for twenty-six years as principal.
His experience includes teaching, preaching, visitation, children’s church, youth work, and teacher workshops.
He and his wife, Barb, have seven children and nine grandchildren. His hobbies include reading, hiking, playing board games, softball, and watching college football.
- Glen Donaldson, Deacon: Facilities
Glen accepted Christ in 1969 at this facility, and has served here ever since. He is often engaged in helping and counseling individuals, and meeting all kinds of needs at the church. In the past he participated in Bible Study Fellowship for five years, and then served as a discussion leader for an additional 5 years. He and Gretchen were married in 1964, and have two children, Julie and Lori, and seven grandchildren. Glen retired in 2000 from a career in computer sales. He now manages his horse boarding ranch. His hobbies are fishing and hunting.
